Technology
In all SLLEA homes, we integrate assistive devices to help assure safety and function for the students in their home setting. SLLEA also integrates assistive self-management software throughout our student programming that is individually designed to promote more self-reliance and organization, allowing students to develop greater self-confidence and skill in managing their daily lives.
SLLEA is proudly partnered with Cognitopia who has developed innovative and cognitively accessible software to assist organization, communication, goal setting, and task tracking with functional reminders, instruction, and visual feedback to students and their support team of choice. SLLEA uses Cognitopia’s platform of life management applications across both home and community settings. We additionally supplement this software with other management and communication apps to allow students a wide menu selection from which to optimize technology assistance that works best for them.
